With two years remaining on his rookie contract, the New York Jets decided to offer quarterback Mark Sanchez a three-year contract extension that will likely keep him around for the next five seasons.
Sanchez will earn $13.5 million per season, with $20.5 million guaranteed.
I guess since the Jets failed at landing Peyton Manning, they thought they would try to cheer up Sanchez by saying I love you with a contract extension. Isn’t that nice.
